Prof. Dong-Won Jung, Jeju National University, South Korea

Professor Dong-Won Jung works in the School of Mechanical Engineering, at Jeju National University, South Korea. Professor Jung's research efforts have been in the areas of constitutive modeling at hot working conditions; cold- and hot-roll forming; incremental sheet forming; cold and hot stamping; computational modeling for metal forming applications; formability in sheet metal forming; friction stir welding.
He serves as a reviewer of plenty of Journals, such as KSME (Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers), KSPE (Korean Society for Precision Engineering), KSTP(Korean Society for Technology of Plasticity), KSAE(Korean Society for Automobile Engineers), Journal of Ocean Engineering and Technology, Journal of Korea Society for Power System Engineering, the Korean Journal of CAE, etc. He also has a lot of publications and academic conference experiences.

Prof. Laichang Zhang, Edith Cowan University, Australia

Prof Laichang Zhang was awarded his PhD of Materials Engineering at the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Laichang is currently a Professor of Materials Engineering and Program Leader Mechanical Engineering in the School of Engineering.
Prof Laichang Zhang has considerable expertise and extensive cross-disciplinary research activities in advanced manufacturing of different types of materials (including nanocrystalline / ultrafine-grained materials, bulk metallic glasses, biomaterials, and high-strength steels) and the understanding of their processing, microstructure and properties (e.g. mechanical properties, fatigue properties, corrosion behavior and catalytic performance). Laichang has extensively contributed to a number of research grants supported by Australian Research Council, European Union, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Science and Technology of China. Laichang has been serving as Editorial Board Members for many prestigious academic journals such as Advanced Engineering Materials, Materials Science and Technology, Metals, Heliyon and so on.

Assoc. Prof. Abdollah Saboori, Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy

Prof. Dr. Abdollah Saboori is an associate professor of Advanced Materials Processing at the Department of Management and Production Engineering of the Politecnico di Torino. His research deals with the correlation between the properties of metallic materials and additive manufacturing processes. In recent years, his scientific activity has focused on alloys and composites produced via metal additive manufacturing processes. Abdollah Saboori was a visiting PhD student at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom, and he received a PhD with honors in materials science and technology from the Politecnico di Torino with a thesis on metal matrix nanocomposites. He is a co-author of more than 100 scientific papers published in scientific journals and conference proceedings. He was awarded the Excellent Article Award in Acta Metallurgica Sinica (English Letters) in 2018 and 2022, The World's Top 2% Scientists award in 2021, 2022, and 2023, a Top Reviewer Award in Materials Science and cross-filed in 2019, a Top Reviewer Award in Materials Science in 2018 (Publons), a 2018 Outstanding Reviewer Award (Switzerland), etc.

Prof. Raul D. S. G. Campilho, ISEP – School of Engineering, Porto, Portugal

Raul Duarte Salgueiral Gomes Campilho has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering (2009) and a Habilitation in Mechanical Engineering, both from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (Portugal). He is an auxiliary professor of the Mechanical Engineering department of ISEP – School of Engineering, Polytechnic University of Porto (Portugal). His research mainly focuses on adhesive joints; structural adhesives; design of bonded joints; experimental testing; Finite Element Method; Extended Finite Element Method; Meshless Methods; Cohesive Zone Models; composite materials; numerical modelling of composite materials; micromechanics; macromechanics; design of mechanical structures; flexible production; automation; robotics; and actuator systems. He was the principal investigator of 1 national R&D project and participated/participates as a researcher in 6 national R&D projects, all funded through competitive calls. He also participated in 1 R&D project in collaboration with the Portuguese industry (funded through competitive calls). He is/was the (co)supervisor of 6 PhD (1 concluded and 5 ongoing) and 258 MSc thesis. His publication record contains 340 articles & reviews published in Web of Science-indexed journals and 154 book chapters.

Prof. Stefano Mariani, Polytechnic Institute of Milan, Italy

Dr. Stefano Mariani received an M.S. degree (cum laude) in civil engineering in 1995 and a Ph.D. degree in structural engineering in 1999, both from the Polytechnic University of Milan. He is currently a professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Milan. He was a research scholar at the Danish Technical University in 1997, an adjunct professor at Penn State University in 2007, and a visiting professor at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University in 2009. He is a member of the Editorial Boards of Algorithms, International Journal on Advances in Systems and Measurements, Inventions, Machines, Micro and Nanosystems, Micromachines, and Sensors. His main research interests are: reliability of MEMS that are subject to shocks and drops; structural health monitoring of composite structures through MEMS sensors; numerical simulations of ductile fracture in metals and of quasi-brittle fracture in heterogeneous and functionally graded materials; extended finite element methods; calibration of constitutive models via extended and sigma-point Kalman filters; multi-scale solution methods for dynamic delamination in layered composites; smart materials and structures.

Dr. Lin Feng Ng, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia

Dr. Lin Feng Ng is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. He completed his PhD degree in 2021 at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, Malaysia. He received the PhD Best Thesis Award from the Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka in 2022. During his postgraduate study back in 2015, he earned a silver award at the UTeM Research and Innovation Expo. To date, he has published 37 journal articles, 2 conference papers and 15 book chapters indexed by Scopus/ISI. His publications have been cited more than 800 times, bringing the h-index to 18 and the i-10 index to 27. In 2024, he was awarded the IOP Outstanding Reviewer award for the Engineering Research Express and IOP Trusted Reviewer Status. He is serving as a reviewer for several high-impact and reputable journals. In all, he has reviewed more than 300 research articles that have been submitted to those high-impact journals. His research interests include Fibre-metal laminates, Polymer composites, Hybrid composites, Synthetic/Natural fibres, Mechanical characterisation, Fatigue life assessment and Energy absorption.
